Who is Weight Harmony for

People who find it hard to lose weight

I have met people who really wanted to lose weight and seemingly tried everything and just couldn’t lose weight. They even wondered if it was a genetic condition. At some point in my life I wondered the same because I was always called ‘chubby’ and I could never seem get ‘thin’. But now that I have changed my perspectives, I like me just the way I am and I am convinced that I can help people do the same.

People who want to make healthy eating and exercise a lifestyle change

Some people want to lose weight for an event or an occasion and usually have a deadline. Whereas, others want to lose weight for health reasons, to feel fit and generally healthier. They don’t usually tend to care how long it takes, as long as they don’t ever go back to feeling unhealthy of fat. I resonate with these clients, and I try to enthuse them with my enthusiasm for health and fitness and help them discover how fun the whole process can be. At the end of the day, they often say it’s not the destination but the journey that is most enjoyable.

People who want to feel good about themselves

People who want to feel good about themselves usually want to lose weight for an event or as a lifestyle change but what most people don’t realise is how quickly this can be achieved, even without any dieting or exercise. This is because, this goal is related to mindset and a shift in perspectives. I want to share various tips and tricks on weight loss related topics and body confidence to help them do that. For example, we don’t have to wait until we have lost 10lbs to feel good and excited about ourselves or about our weight loss journey. We can feel it right now by tuning into that feeling and imagining or visualizing how good we would feel to have achieved that goal already and this in turn will spur us on to making that reality come true sooner.

People who want to be inspired to be fit

Motivation is a big deal! We often need loads of strategies and tactics to keep ourselves motivated, especially when it comes to losing weight. Well, I want to share inspirational information and conduct workshops that will motivate people to be active. My passion when it comes to fitness is rehabilitation. I want to help grown people be young again and move like children – roll on the floor, climb trees, stretch and be flexible all the while teaching simple routines to fix back pain, strengthening the core , building upper body strength, etc… Every time I said that in my Pilates classes, they laughed, and then they would leave the class in awe, that they’d gotten close to doing a rolly poly or that their back pain was completely gone after just the first class. Yep, I am convinced I can convert you too.

People who love health and fitness

For my peers who already love health and fitness, then I want to be friends, collaborate and learn more from you. I don’t claim to know it all, not even on the subjects that I have studied, trained and worked in. The health and fitness industry is constantly changing and evolving. There are loads of information out there that I still need to brush up my knowledge on and there is still so much that I want to know. So, I am happy to receive comments and feedback and have two way conversations with my readers. The best part of the job is working with people.

People who want to apply mindfulness to weight loss

I am training to become a clinical hypnotherapist, and I am fascinated by deeper root causes of problems and want to use mindfulness to help people achieve quick and permanent results. Unfortunately, I have found that we are too focused on using external methods such as effort and willpower to make changes for internal/emotional root causes. I don’t think the concept is new for many of my readers but even if it is, I am looking forward to exploring it practically with my audience. Let’s embark on this journey together.
